Into the Future: Eceipts – The Future of our Transactions
I think pretty much all human beings in this world have encountered any form of receipt after making transactions to acquire goods or services, may it be for food, things, events, or even places. However, most receipts come in paper, and imagine how many transactions are happening right now while you're reading this blog – maybe hundreds or even thousands! What's even worse is that most of us just throw them away anyway, and when we need them the most, they're not there. Imagine how many trees were cut or the water and electricity wasted to produce those papers!
That is why, if given a chance to develop an app, it would be one that can eventually centralize all our transactions in the digital space, so we can save the environment, organize our transactions, and have them when we need them – and I'll call it "Eceipts".
So how does it work? Well, it works similar to GCash or PayMaya, where it records all your transactions in detail. For instance, when buying something in any store with any of these services, you scan a QR code or debit card to redirect you to a payment portal, and it will then automatically record all your transactions. However, what's great about this app is that it will unify all transactions in your GCash, PayMaya, Coins.ph, or any digital wallets with application integration! In addition, your transactions won't only be limited to stores that support these transactions, but in any existing store – through QR code or a manual input with the store's official signature.
But how will I make this happen? Like any other business, it will need slow integration and support from the stores, including normalization in our lifestyles. And to get this started, it will need a modern and slick back-end and front-end design to build its branding of a robust and reliable application. This way, the people will look at the application as a trend and necessity in their lifestyle.
Won't I be competing with other applications as well? Well, perhaps I will, but there's no other application out there – or at least that I know of – that has a feature to centralize all customer-side transactions and access them easily, then organize them into any categories.
And so, as we move forward into the future, may we develop similar solutions to what Eceipts offers, and propel ourselves into becoming a paperless, environmental-friendlier community! 🌏
